Using a traditional pole lathe and handmade tools, Thomas "Doc" Tobin produces items both modern and traditional using time-honored English wood turning technique of "bodging." Using green wood that has been cured or dried in the open air, Tobin creates a wide variety of items from chair legs and belaying pins to tops, yo-yos and much more.
