Cantiga is a real homegrown Texas Renaissance Festival musical group. Organized in the 1970s  by harpist Martha Gay and fiddler Malcolm Smith, Cantiga specializes in the performance of an ancient European repertoire.  When joined by Owain Phyfe, they become the critically acclaimed New World Renaissance Band performing and recording early music for modern ears.  Band members include: Martha Gay, Robert Bielefeld, Max Dyer, and Mark Caudil.
