Norðanfólk is a Texas-local Nordic folk music project in the animist neofolk tradition of Northern Europe. Layered over traditional instruments such as kravik lyre, hurdy-gurdy, and tagelharpa, Norðanfólk features hypnotic rhythms and 3-part harmonies in Norwegian, Icelandic and Old Norse.
