Campground Rules & FAQs

TRF is committed to providing a safe and fun environment for campground patrons of all ages and backgrounds. All patrons acknowledge upon entry that they have received these rules, will comply and understand the consequence of violation.

2025 Campground Rules

GOLDEN RULE
Be considerate of others. Disorderly conduct will not be tolerated.

CAMP PASS/WRISTBANDS
All individuals within the campground are required to wear a valid camping wristband for the duration of their stay. Anyone found without a valid wristband may be subject to purchasing an additional camping pass or removal from the Fields of New Market.

FESTIVAL TICKET
All campground patrons are required to possess and present a valid Festival Ticket or Season Pass for at least one day of the camping weekend in order to gain entry to the Fields of New Market.

CAMPING GATES
Entrance gates are staffed 24 hours a day during operating days.
Open from 8 a.m. Thursday to 12 p.m. Monday

THANKSGIVING WEEKEND HOURS
Open from 12 p.m. Wednesday to 12 p.m. Monday.

FESTIVAL PARKING
Vehicles left in Festival General Parking after 2 a.m. are subject to towing at owner expense. Festival Parking within the campground is available in Rows 1, 2 and 3 near the Festival Entrance.

QUIET HOURS
Family Camping Area: 10 p.m. - 6 a.m.
Revel Camping Area: Midnight - 6 a.m.
No vehicle traffic after midnight.

BONFIRE RULES
Any attempt to breach the inner fire ring shall result in removal from the property of Fields of New Market and the extinguishing of the Bonfire flame. Do not stoke, tamper, or add debris of any kind into the flames. Any attempt of the kind shall result in the removal from the property of Fields of New Market and the extinguishing of the bonfire flame.

TRASH VS ASH
Please help us in preserving Fields of New Market and letting nature flourish after our revelry!
Metal bins are designated for embers and ash, no trash
Wooden Frames are designated for trash, no ash or embers

CAMPFIRES
Ground fires are strictly prohibited. 936-727-1800 Security. Fire. EMS.
All fires must be kept enclosed in off-the-ground containers, such as above ground fire pits, BBQ pits, chimineas, or liquid fueled heating.
DO NOT dump coals, embers, ash, or any fire remains on the ground or in dumpsters. Ash bins for dumping coals, embers, ash, and fire remains are located next to dumpsters throughout the campground.

RESERVING AN AREA
General camping areas operate on a first-come, first-served basis. Reserving additional space for patrons who are not physically present at the Fields of New Market is prohibited. Reserved spaces are exclusively designated for Season Pass holders and those with advanced bookings. Patrons are not permitted to deny other campers access to non-reserved General Camping areas located directly adjacent to an individual campsite.

CONSTRUCTION / BOUNDARIES
All campsite improvements, including boundaries (roping off), excessive decorations, or constructions temporary or otherwise are prohibited for all General Camping patrons.

GROUNDS / TREES
No cutting, burning, decorating, or placing hardware in any natural elements. No digging. No tree-tents or hammocks. No collection or relocation of any natural or constructed TRF property.

PETS
Pets are not permitted within Fields of New Market. Service animals trained to perform specific tasks for individuals with disabilities, as defined by the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), are welcome. Emotional support animals, comfort animals, and therapy animals are not considered service animals under the ADA and are not allowed. Service animals must remain under control at all times.

MINORS
Children 16 and under MUST be accompanied by a Parent or Legal Guardian.

PARKING & ROADWAYS
Parking is permitted in the space adjacent to your campsite. Vehicles, tents, and RVs must maintain a minimum distance of 10 feet from roadways. No vehicle traffic is allowed after midnight.

DISTRIBUTION OF CONSUMABLES
For the safety of everyone involved, do not distribute and/or accept food or drinks from anyone you do not know.

STRICTLY PROHIBITED
Illegal Drugs, Alcohol Abuse, Fire Spinning/Playing, Nudity, Open Bars, Sales without Campground Vendor Permit, Fireworks, Pets, Sky Lanterns, Lazer Pointers, Drones, Airborne RC Vehicles, Golf Carts, ATV's, UTV's, Dirt Bikes, and Bicycles are NOT Allowed.

WEAPONS
Firearms concealed or open carry are Strictly Prohibited
Swords, Knives, Axes, Maces, any edged or pointed weapons MUST be Sheathed and Peace Tied at All Times, period-themed or otherwise.

VIOLATIONS
Violation of any rule or policy may result in removal from the campground without a refund, at the discretion of Management or Security Personnel. Management retains final authority on all matters. The Texas Renaissance Festival and Fields of New Market is privately owned and operated.

SECURITY
The Campground is always patrolled by Uniformed Law Enforcement and Security Officers. All Local, State, and Federal Laws Apply and are Enforced.
