2020 Media Credential Application
If you would like to cover the 2020 Texas Renaissance Festival as a member of the media/press, please fill out the form that can be accessed using the link below.
Texas Renaissance Festival Media Passes are intended for representatives of official news media outlets only (i.e. newspapers, television, radio, periodical publications, bloggers and digital/online media outlets), with valid credentials from the news outlet they represent.
THIS DOES NOT APPLY TO HOBBYISTS. INDEPENDENT PROFESSIONAL PHOTOGRAPHERS ARE ENCOURAGED TO CARRY A MEDIA PASS BUT IT IS NOT REQUIRED.
If you fall under the definition of media as stated above and you are using any kind of commercial/professional cameras (still/video) or lighting you MUST register with the TRF Media center and display your media badge at all time while on the festival grounds. Failure to do so will require you to come to the media center to register OR return your equipment to your vehicle.
Selling photos taken at the Texas Renaissance Festival for profit is strictly prohibited! Anyone found doing so will be asked to turn in his/her media badge and will not be eligible to re-apply for credentials in the future.
You may wear a costume/garb, but you may not have your face covered at any time. This is for the safety and transparency for our patrons. **This may change depending on the restrictions and requirements mandated by local, county or state government regarding face masks.
Should you wish to attend the festival as a media guest, but will not be taking photography or videos that will be used in the media, please email Marketing Manager Marlena Solomon to be placed on the media center list at marketing at texrenfest.com. Please include the date(s) you would like to attend, media company you are affiliated with and how many are in your party (Adults and Children (12 and under).
